Location of €8.9 million lotto winnings revealed after a warning was issued

A Limerick Lotto player has become Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire after winning the huge €8,970,934 jackpot last night when a warning was issued.

The Limerick player has become the third lottery millionaire of the year after big wins from players from Dublin and Louth.

The winning numbers in the Saturday evening draw were 01, 09, 10, 14, 26, 40 and the bonus was 04.

The National Lottery urged all players purchasing tickets in Limerick to check their tickets carefully.

The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should contact the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to claim their life-changing prize.

The winning store will not be announced until Tuesday, April 23.

‘This is a huge amount to take into account overnight and the winner will certainly be in shock at first. The National Lottery’s newest millionaire is being advised to sign the back of his ticket and keep it safe. They should contact our prize claims team who will arrange for them to visit Lotto headquarters to claim their prize.”
