Cambria Imperial Hotel appoints first general manager » Holtville Tribune

IIMPERIAL – Brawley resident Todd Bean has been named the first general manager of the new Cambria Imperial Hotel in Imperial, which Brick Hospitality Inc. says will be the first to open its doors. will open at the beginning of summer.

Bean, an industry veteran with more than thirty years of hospitality experience, joins the Cambria Imperial Hotel with extensive knowledge in sales, marketing, operations and food and beverage from previous stints at Wyndham, Sheraton and Choice Hotels, according to a press release.

“I am incredibly honored to lead the opening and take the helm of this groundbreaking hotel and restaurant in the Imperial Valley,” said Bean. “The Cambria Imperial Hotel will provide the finest accommodation and dining experience in the Valley and become the premier destination for locals and travelers alike.”

As with all Cambria hotels and suites, the Imperial property will offer a bar with a curated selection of local craft beers and signature cocktails, a stylish meeting and events space, spa-inspired bathrooms with Bluetooth mirrors and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

The Bean and the Brick Hospitality team will oversee the opening of the hotel, including all recruitment. Engaging the local community is a key focus for the hotel and Bean will play an active role in promoting the hotel as a business traveler, tourist and local destination.

“Todd’s appointment is an important milestone in the opening process. His energy, enthusiasm and regional experience are great assets to have on board. I have no doubt that Todd will do a great job and develop a fantastic Imperial Valley team,” said Owner and President of Brick Hospitality Robert Rauch.

The hotel will employ up to 50 people from the area. Gafcon Inc. is managing construction of the hotel and the new Innercare PACE and Healthcare Center, both located in the Northpointe development at the corner of Highway 86 and Neckel Road in Imperial.
